Parasite, Little Women
Parasite:Tour de force about capitalism and class. Poor family infiltrates rich family by first honestly being hired, and then cruelly replacing existing employees. When a displaced employee returns, chaos ensues.Because I’m not aware of Korean culture, sure I missed many of the subtle clues.
Little Women: another version to fall in love with - Greta Gerwig is Jo, Florence Pugh as Amy and Timothy Chalmont as Laurie; also Gabriel Bryne as the Professor? OR was that the Winona Ryder version? (this draft was written before the pandemic; memory is faulty, erratic. Now that ponder, maybe was Eric Stolz?

Sorry to Bother You, Billions
LaKeith Stanfield and Tessa Thompson - also Danny Glover, Omari Hardwicke with an eye patch, et al. The best tee shirts, earrings, and sets - a sci-fi fantasy comedy/drama - what happens when a telemarketer uses his 'white voice' , what happens when he becomes a power caller. A satire re capitalism.
Binge watched seasons 2 and 3 of Billions on a free trial of Showtime. Message: Always be your best self, or at least your image of your best self. The Wendy character (corporate shrink of Axe Capital) pushes employees to break through their own Gardol Shield, and she does the same for her husband, Chuck Rhoades, a wonderful Paul Giametti - could he play Napoleon?

Can’t believe it’s been that long - fabulous and scary movie from Jordan Peele. Creepy acting from
Bradley Whitfield and Cathleen Keener and Ashley (Allison?) Williams. Racially, it was such a satisfying ending.

Go on with yourself John Krasinski. Heart-beating anxiety, peek your one’s fingers scenes. Tremendous empathy for everyone on screen - Emily Blunt and two young actors who play the children - one is a deaf - which is integral to the story. See and be terror struck.
